1. Reservations are provisional until the deposit has been paid to the owner and are from Saturday 4 pm to Saturday 10 am, unless otherwise has been agreed.
2. The owner shall not be obliged to offer accomodation before the time mentioned and the client shall not be entitled to remain in the house aftr the time mentioned.
3. The balance of the rent is payable not less than 8 weeks before the start of the rental period. If payment is not received by the due date, the owner reserves the right to give notice in writing that the reservation is cancelled. The client will remain liable to pay the balance of the rent, unless the owner is able to re-let the property.
4. It is not permitted to smoke inside the house.
5. The client is strongly recommended to arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy (including cancellation cover) and to have full cover for the party's personal belongings, public liability etc. since these are not covered by the owners insurance.
6. The maximum number of people to reside in the property must not exceed the number advised to the owner on the booking form, unless the owner has given prior permission.
7. The client agrees to be considerate tenant and to take good care of the property and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period.
8. The client shall report to the owner without delay any defects in the property or the garden, or breakdown in equipment of appliances in the property, replacement will be made asap.
9. The owner shall not be liable for the client in case of : any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services, nor in respect of any equipment or appliances in the property or the garden. Any loss, damage or injury which is the result of adverse weather condition, riot, war, strikes or other matters beyond the control of the owner.Any loss, damaged before the start of the rental period, and in any such event, the owner shall, within 7 days of notification to the client, refund all sums previously paid in respect of the rental period.
10. Under no circumstances shall the owners liability exceed the amount paid to the owner for the rental period.
11. The client can bring small pets in the property when stated in the booking form.
12. If the owners mattress covers are used instead of sheets, the full cost of washing and ironing will be charged to the client. Towels that are hired from the owner are for the house only.
